Vision Engineer - industrial sector About the role Our partner is a recognized player specialized in the development of automated testing and quality control solutions. Thanks to its sharp expertise in industrial vision, the company designs and realizes custom systems for demanding sectors such as watchmaking, automotive, medical, railway, aerospace, or energy. In order to strengthen the current team, we are looking for an Industrial Vision Engineer passionate about technology and motivated to join an expert structure in the design of highly technological inspection solutions. Tasks As an Industrial Vision Engineer, you will join a team composed of specialized engineers, under the responsibility of a project manager. You will work on various projects, mainly custom-made, covering the entire development cycle of inspection machines. Analyze the technical needs defined with the project manager. Propose adapted inspection solutions (2D/3D vision, sensors, imaging, optics). Design and dimension quality control systems. Define the inspection technology and estimate measurement uncertainties. Carry out the technical pre-sales, prototyping, and test plan phases. Specify, develop, and document image and data processing algorithms. Integrate the hardware & software solution in collaboration with mechatronic teams. Install the systems at client sites and ensure commissioning. Train users on the developed systems. We are looking for Degree in industrial vision, microtechnology, industrial computing, electronics, physics or an equivalent technical field. 2 to 3 years of experience in the development or integration of industrial vision solutions. Desired mastery of tools and libraries: Halcon, Cognex, Matrox, Labview, Vision Builder, OmeRun. Ability to estimate measurement uncertainties and to define test plans. Interest in mechatronics, prototype design, and the development of custom solutions. Soft skills: agile, reliable, autonomous person, possessing good communication skills, dynamic, passionate about technology, capable of working in a team and managing stress. Mastery of French, with sufficient technical English for documentation.
