Senior SAP General Accountant

• Role offering a good level of autonomy and operational responsibilities • Renowned and well-organized company About Our Client ## Our client, a Swiss industrial company pursuing its growth, is looking for a Senior Accountant to strengthen its finance department. You will actively participate in the complete accounting management of several group entities in a structured environment using SAP S/4HANA. Job Description ## • Ensure the complete maintenance of general accounting for several companies. • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. • Prepare and analyze account reconciliations. • Perform intercompany reconciliations. • Control and prepare VAT returns. • Manage fixed assets and ensure their accounting follow-up. • Perform bank reconciliations and cash monitoring. • Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Guarantee the quality and reliability of accounting data in SAP. • Participate in external audits in collaboration with auditors. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls. • Participate in budget monitoring and certain financial analyses. The Successful Applicant ## • Education in accounting, finance, or equivalent. • Proven experience in general accounting up to closing. • Proficiency in SAP, ideally SAP S/4HANA. • Good knowledge of Swiss accounting and VAT. • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with other team members. • Rigorous, organized, and quality-oriented person. • Rapid availability strongly desired. • Experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
