Java Developer Fullstack Implementation 80-100% (m/f/d) - Fullstack/Spring/REST/SOAP/Angular

For our client, a public institution in the security and justice environment, we are looking for an experienced Java Developer (925239JP) with a focus on fullstack implementation. In this role, you will develop and maintain complex specialist applications based on modern Java/Spring and Angular technologies - from the backend interface (REST/SOAP) to the high-performance web frontend.

Tasks:

• Fullstack development of Java-based specialist applications with Spring Boot / Spring Framework
• Conception, implementation, and maintenance of REST and SOAP interfaces (integration into the existing system landscape)
• Database-oriented work with Oracle or PostgreSQL incl. SQL, schema design, and modeling
• Development of modern web frontends with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS as well as associated test frameworks
• Ensuring code quality and stability through automated tests (unit, integration, and UI tests)
• Use of CI/CD tools (e.g., Maven, Git, Jenkins, Sonar) for build, test, and deployment processes
• Collaboration in an agile SCRUM team including active participation in refinements, plannings, and reviews

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer with Java (JSE/JEE or JSE/Spring)
• At least 3 years of project experience with Spring as the primary backend technology
• Good knowledge of the following Spring technologies: Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Testing, Spring Data, Spring Batch, Spring Security
• Good knowledge of REST technologies as well as SOAP/integration technologies
• Sound experience with database technologies
• Knowledge of test frameworks (Playwright, Cypress), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS incl. test automation

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with at least 3 of the following tools: IntelliJ, Maven, Git, Jenkins, Sonar
• Professional experience in federal administration or other national/international authorities
• Practical experience with Scrum methodology
• Good knowledge of DDD
• Practical experience with Kotlin for individual applications

Education:

• University degree (FH, Uni, ETH) in Computer Science or Business Informatics

Languages:

• German native speaker/business fluent
• Good language skills (B2) in English and/or French are an advantage
