• 17 August 2026 • 70 - 90% • Indefinite duration • Rue Marterey 23, 1005 Lausanne *L-institution pour l-enfance (IPE) de Marterey in Lausanne* is a collective daycare center managed by the Centre vaudois d-aide à la jeunesse (CVAJ). It has a capacity of 41 places for children from 4 months to school age. Subsidized mainly by the city of Lausanne (SPE) and by the canton of Vaud (DIRIS), it has the particularity of being a "relay" place for families benefiting from a socio-professional integration measure or courses within the framework of the Communauté d-Intérêt pour la Formation d-Adultes (CIFEA). *We are looking for a:* Director (70-90%) Main responsibilities: • Promote listening and participation of families and children being welcomed. • Develop and adjust the institutional concept based on a continuous effective definition of quality. • Be the guarantor of compliance with the objectives and principles defined in the institutional concept. • Evaluate service delivery in a participatory and continuous manner and lead pedagogical reflection with teams and families. • Take measures aimed at improving the quality of child care and family reception, and propose innovative projects. • Develop inter-team collaboration, promote institutional de-siloing and openness to the neighborhood. • Accompany and advise staff and families in the complexity of the situations encountered. • In agreement with parents, ensure necessary contact with competent social, medical, paramedical or educational services. • In respect of available places and resources, standards and regulations, ensure work planning and family registration. • Manage staff hours, presence and absences. • Recruit permanent and auxiliary staff, set objectives. • Ensure follow-up of collaboration interviews for all staff. • Motivate staff to pursue the objectives developed for the staff and the institution. • Actively participate in Association projects and respond to related requests. • Participate in network meetings (R-L, DIRIS, etc.), CVAJ inter-service coordinations and transmit received information to staff. • Keep general management and management of other services informed of the smooth running of the service, by providing regular feedback on activities. • Promote the good image of the service and the Association. • Inform parents, the public and partners about the goals and functioning of the service and the Association. Expected profile: • Holder of a HES-level diploma in Social Work (TS, TSP, TSHM). • CAS diploma in team management. • CAS diploma or higher training in systemics, migrations and plural societies, inclusion or other. • At least 5 years of experience in the field of childhood and youth. • At least 3 years in project management or management. • Excellent understanding of the issues related to Vaudois daycare. • Excellent knowledge of the Lausanne and Vaud resource network in social work. • Strong interest in complex social situations and the reception of families in situations of precariousness or vulnerability. • Mastery of common IT tools and WEB. • Recognized leadership skills. • Ease in communication, both written and oral. • Recognized abilities to work in a team. • Good understanding of financial principles and budget management. • Good organizational and technical skills, suitable for managing variable-term placements and multiple funding sources. • Strong experience and aptitude for analysis and the creation of pedagogical concepts related to welcoming diversity. • Motivation to invest in an association working for youth and childhood aid. • Critical thinking. • Interpersonal skills and commitment. • Clean criminal record.
