Co-Leadership Specialist Office for the Equality of People with Disabilities (40-60 %)

Engage yourself with your project experience and your know-how for the Stadt Luzern and advocate for the inclusion of people with disabilities.

Your tasks

• You advise and sensitize the service departments of the municipal administration on issues of inclusion and equality.
• As a point of contact, you receive concerns from people with disabilities.
• You participate in municipal planning, projects, and decrees.
• In your function, you work closely with the Bund, the Kanton, as well as private institutions and associations.
• You ensure the systematic involvement of people with disabilities.
• Through targeted sensitization and public relations work, you strengthen awareness for equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Your profile

• You have a (professional) university degree, preferably in social, human sciences or law, architecture, urban or spatial planning, or a related field.
• You bring (professional) experience in equality and discrimination issues.
• You have several years of professional and project management experience and are used to driving projects forward independently.
• A strong desire to shape things as well as a high degree of personal responsibility characterize you.
• You are interested in working at the interface of administration and politics; experience in public administration is an advantage.

Within the Direktionsstab of the Stadtpräsident, the Stadt Luzern is building a new Specialist Office for Equality for people with disabilities, alongside the already existing Specialist Office for Gender Equality. It will become the competence center of the Stadt Luzern for the legal and actual equality of people with disabilities. The specialist office advises and supports the municipal service departments on issues regarding the equality of people with disabilities and is the municipal point of contact and triage center for the concerns of people with disabilities and their relatives.
