The Luzerner Theater is a multi-genre house with the genres opera, drama, dance, as well as children's and youth theatre. With around 250 permanently employed staff members and numerous guests, the Luzerner Theater is the largest cultural provider in Central Switzerland with various venues and international impact. With 20 to 25 new productions per playing season, we see ourselves as a network hub in the diverse cultural landscape of Central Switzerland. Fancy a job in the middle of the theatre, where you play a central role? As of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a warm personality as Gate Staff 50 - 60% These tasks await you: • Reception and registration of our artists, employees, visitors and suppliers at the stage entrance • Maintaining the attendance list, checking access authorizations • Telephone service as well as internal mail distribution • Operation of building technical systems (e.g. fire alarm system) as well as initiation of initial measures in case of alarms and emergencies • Control and locking rounds at the end of the shift For this, we wish from you: • Experience in a similar function (e.g. reception or security) • Open-minded, warm personality with joy in contact with people • Team spirit, independence and reliability • Interest in lively theatre operations • Flexibility and readiness for regular evening and weekend services • Very good German skills, English skills an advantage Diversity welcome We welcome applications from all qualified persons, regardless of gender, nationality, origin, religion, disability, age as well as sexual orientation and identity.
