Purchasing Clerk (m/f/d)

EMS has 25 production sites in 16 countries, employs around 3'000 people worldwide and is the largest vocational trainer in the canton with around 140 apprentices and recipient of the National Education Award. EMS-GRIVORY is part of the High Performance Polymers business unit of the EMS Group and employs over 1000 people worldwide. The largest development and production center is located in Domat/Ems in Switzerland. Other production sites are located in Germany, China, Taiwan and the USA. ###

What awaits you

• You trigger raw material orders and monitor their timely and correct quantity delivery
• You support the establishment and development of supply chains for new and alternative raw materials
• In doing so, you maintain close contact with our suppliers
• You are also responsible for the processing and control of invoices from suppliers, transport companies as well as customs agents
• Participation in projects for the change and continuous optimization of the purchasing processes
• In addition to general administrative tasks, you maintain data for supplier evaluation, maintain statistics on goods deliveries and support the processing of complaints

What you bring with you

• Completed commercial training
• Professional experience in logistics processing, in purchasing is an advantage
• Good MS Office and SAP knowledge
• Very good oral and written communication skills in German and English
• Reliable, independent and structured way of working
