Installation Manager MIC (m/f/d)

At Bucher Leichtbau, you don't just develop and produce components. In the Medical Interior Components (MIC) area, highly specialized solutions for rescue helicopters are created, making the work of medical teams easier during operations.

As Installation Manager MIC, you ensure that our systems not only function perfectly in Fällanden, but also directly at the customer and in the aircraft. You combine technical know-how with practical skill, customer contact, and international travel.

• You bring our MIC solutions directly into the aircraft. You perform internal and external assembly work and professionally install our systems into rescue helicopters at the customer site.
• You assemble components precisely according to drawings, work instructions, and checklists and ensure that every detail is correct.
• Through bonding, assembly, and repair work, you ensure the quality and function of our products.
• You inspect finished components and reliably document the results using test plans and checklists.
• You recognize potential for improvement in our manufacturing processes and actively contribute your experience.
• During repair work in the Part 145 area, you can apply your expertise specifically.
• You are the face of Bucher at the customer: professional, solution-oriented, and confident.
• With a travel activity of around 40–50 %, you also implement our solutions internationally where they are needed.

You are technically savvy, like to roll up your sleeves, and also feel comfortable at the customer site.

• Completed mechanical or electrotechnical training EFZ
• Ideally training or further education in the field of aviation technology
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a technical, regulated environment – for example, aviation, avionics, medical technology, or automotive
• Good German skills and good English for international assignments
• Further training or qualification as Certifying Staff according to EASA Part 21G is a plus
• Experience with HEMS systems (Helicopter Emergency Medical Services) or a corresponding valid qualification certificate is an advantage
• You communicate clearly, act professionally, and remain confident even at the customer site
• You enjoy working in a team, take on responsibility, and find pragmatic solutions
• Traveling is not a problem for you, but rather a variety in the job.
