• Define the requirements for fire protection equipment, operational vehicles of the industrial fire brigade, and material for defensive fire protection
• Actively accompany procurement processes and manage them from the perspective of the user
• Conduct fire protection inspections and verify the defined measures
• Train and advise construction experts, plant personnel, and troops in the areas of organizational and defensive fire protection
• Test and professionally evaluate new extinguishing and firefighting systems
• Prepare, present, and implement topics from the VBS Fire Protection Specialist Office for the further training and specialist reports of the industrial fire brigade (B+F) management

• Completed commercial and/or technical basic training
• Business administration further training
• Additional training as a fire protection specialist with a federal diploma
• Swiss fire instructor FKS (basic and respiratory protection)
• Experienced course instructor and trainer
• Good editorial skills as well as oral and written knowledge of a second official language
