Operational Buyer Electronics (m/f/d) 80–100%

For our client, an internationally active industrial company in the field of electronics and automation technology in the Bern region, we are looking for an experienced specialist in operational purchasing, effective immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks

• In this versatile position, you will take over the operational procurement of electronic components, printed circuit boards and assemblies, as well as related services within clearly defined product groups.
• You request quotations, check and compare them, and conduct price and condition negotiations within the specified framework.
• Triggering, monitoring, and following up on orders, including schedule and delivery control, are as much a part of your everyday life as ensuring material availability, taking into account inventory levels, requirements planning, and production requirements.
• You are co-responsible for the obsolescence management of electronic components, maintain supplier and article data in SAP, and process delivery deviations, complaints, and invoice discrepancies.
• Furthermore, you work closely with the production, scheduling, development, and quality assurance departments and actively participate in the optimization of purchasing processes and the further development of supplier performance.

Requirements

• You have completed technical training in the electronics field as well as several years of professional experience in operational purchasing within the electronics or industrial industry.
• A sound technical understanding of electronic components and assemblies is a prerequisite.
• You feel confident in handling SAP and MS Office.
• You convince through negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a structured, reliable way of working.
• As a communicative, team-oriented, and resilient personality, you find pragmatic solutions even in demanding situations.
• Good German and English skills in spoken and written form round off your profile.
