Your Team You will work in the Payments Investigations Team in Zürich Opfikon. We are a team of 14 highly motivated experts in the field of payment investigations and cover a very wide spectrum of tasks – from standard investigations to supporting task forces with complex payment problems. Our team members work very independently and autonomously and attach great importance to mutual trust, cooperation, and accountability. Our office is located in Opfikon in the north of Zürich; additionally, there is the possibility for partial home office. Diversity helps us to grow together. Your Knowledge and Experience We are looking for a Payments \& Cash Specialist in the area of Payments Investigations with the following tasks: \* Ensuring timely and correct investigations as well as solutions for inquiries from banks, customers, front office, or other internal functions in connection with payments (e.g., cancellations, changes, interest claims, etc.) \* Precise communication with third-party banks via SWIFT \* Identification and correction of erroneous postings on Nostro, Vostro, and customer accounts \* Accompanying and monitoring important and urgent executed payments as well as intervening in the event of potential delays \* Questioning and optimizing existing processes as well as contributing suggestions for technical further developments of applications Your Profile: \* Several years of experience in the field of payment processing or payment investigations \* Strong problem-solving skills \* Broad understanding of payment transactions and their standards (SWIFT, SIC, Euro\-SIC, SEPA, etc.) \* Flexible, resilient, risk-conscious, and responsible \* At least a commercial vocational training or equivalent/higher degree \* Very good English and German skills, other languages an advantage \* Able to work in a team and ready to support other teams and functions if required \* Good conceptual and analytical skills \* Ability to think "out of the box," assess new problems, and develop solutions About Us UBS is a leading global asset manager and the leading universal bank in Switzerland.
