Head of IT (80–100%) The reformed parish Zürich is the largest and most populous parish in Switzerland. With a wide range of meaningful fields of activity, the human being is at the center. The administrative office forms the central service center of the parish Zürich. The IT department is responsible for the IT infrastructure and ICT resources. It implements strategic specifications of the church council and ensures a secure and reliable IT operation. In addition, the IT department is a service provider for Katholisch Stadt Zürich. Due to the retirement of the current job holder, we are looking for a team-oriented and committed personality as Head of IT (80–100%) per 1. April 2027 or by arrangement Your tasks Personnel, technical, and financial leadership of the IT department Continuous further development of the IT infrastructure and services, including processes and tools Active promotion of digitalization in the parish Further professionalization of the department as a service center and promotion of employees Ensuring customer-oriented service delivery Responsibility for budget, service levels, as well as for compliance with standards, data protection, and security specifications Development of decision-making bases for the executive and parliament, as well as of law-setting decrees, strategic concepts, and guidelines for the use of IT resources Your profile University degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field of study Several years of proven leadership experience in the IT environment, preferably in public law, political, or non-profit organizations Sound and up-to-date specialist knowledge in the areas of IT infrastructure, application management, IT security, and Microsoft 365 Experience in project management and the design of efficient processes Strong analytical, conceptual, and methodical skills as well as a healthy balance between innovative thinking and pragmatism High level of initiative, solution orientation, and resilience Strong-communication, integral leadership personality with heart and mind, as well as a strong service focus Identification with the values and goals of the Reformed Church We offer A responsible and versatile leadership task with scope for design The collaboration with a competent and motivated team The opportunity to actively shape the digital transformation A modern office infrastructure in a central location in Zürich Flexible working hours as well as home office by arrangement Are you interested?
