Industrial Buyer FR-GER-ENG (M/F)

For one of our clients, an industrial company active in the field of mechanics, we are looking for an industrial buyer FR-GER-ENG (M/F) to strengthen its team.

Your responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Procure-to-Pay processes, from the expression of need to invoicing
• Act as a Purchasing Business Partner for the site in Switzerland and support internal clients in definition
• Identify, evaluate, select and develop a panel of suppliers meeting the technical, qualitative and economic requirements of the company
• Conduct tenders and commercial negotiations, then contribute to contracting and the monitoring of supplier commitments
• Monitor suppliers, claims as well as delivery or invoicing discrepancies, and coordinate the necessary actions
• Analyze expenditures, price histories and supplier indicators in order to identify levers for optimization and cost reduction
• Ensure operational activities and support for the Purchasing department
• Ensure the supervision and monitoring of the department's commercial apprentice by contributing to their training and development

Your profile

• A technical CFC completed by training in purchasing, procurement or training deemed equivalent
• At least five years of professional experience within a Purchasing department in Swiss industry
• A good mastery of the Procure-to-Pay cycle, tenders, commercial negotiation and contracting
• An ability to analyze costs and price histories, as well as knowledge of customs rules and Incoterms
• A very good mastery of French and German, as well as good knowledge of English
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft 365
• A rigorous, reliable, solution-oriented personality, endowed with initiative and diplomacy
