The role... Do you want to actively develop technology further? Then become part of our Electrical & Process Automation team and shape the future of our production facilities and manufacturing processes. You will lead, evaluate, and develop modern and sustainable solutions based on the latest technology. In this interdisciplinary function, you will analyze and troubleshoot disturbances, optimize existing systems, and bring your expertise to modernizations and new automation solutions. You will work independently, take responsibility, and benefit from a well-established, interdisciplinary team with high technical expertise. How you will make an impact... • Further development of machine and system controls to increase quality, availability, and efficiency • Management and accompaniment of the commissioning of new automated production systems and processes • Programming and further development of S7 controls for process automation and process control; setup, planning, and design of the transition from Siemens to ABB controls • Systematic analysis of disturbances and development of sustainable process improvements • Collaboration in cross-departmental projects to introduce new technologies for measurement, monitoring, diagnostics, etc. • Stand-by service a maximum of every two months (one week each) to ensure production continuity What you bring... • Completed basic training as an automation engineer EFZ and further training at the HF or FH level • Several years of professional experience in the field of automation, SPS programming, or industrial process automation • Knowledge of programming Siemens SPS and HMI systems is mandatory, ABB knowledge is an advantage • Very good German language skills and good English language skills in writing and speaking • Independence, initiative, communication skills, and a solution-oriented and safety-conscious approach to work What we offer... • Company participation in a yearly public transportation subscription at 50% and the MA also receives the entire public transportation network (ZVV/Ostwind) • Annual working hours (based on a 40-hour week) with flexible working hours • Above-average salary continuation in case of accident or illness • Own cafeteria with meal options at favorable prices • Company participation and support for internal and external further training We look forward to hearing from you soon!
