Charles Ischi AG is a Swiss family business that develops, produces, and distributes testing devices for the pharmaceutical and food industries. Our tablet and capsule testing devices are used worldwide.

At our location in Zuchwil, we are looking for a technically savvy, careful, and reliable personality who enjoys assembling, testing, and preparing high-quality devices for delivery.

Your tasks

• Assembly of our testing devices and components from scratch
• Mechanical and electrical assembly of the devices
• Wiring, screwing, adjusting, and testing
• Functional control and final testing of the assembled devices
• Testing, adjustment, and commissioning of purchased devices and accessories
• Execution of defined tests according to testing instructions
• Careful filling out and signing of test protocols and production documentation
• Installation and setup of PC software
• Connection and functional test between testing device, PC, and software
• Troubleshooting, repairs, and readjustments
• Preparation of devices and systems for packaging and shipping
• Occasional support in special assemblies or technical tasks.
• Support in the maintenance of process and technical documentation.

What you bring with you

• Structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Basic technical or manual training, e.g., as an automation technician, electronics technician, device assembler, or in a related profession
• Alternatively, corresponding practical experience in the assembly of technical devices
• Good mechanical understanding and manual dexterity
• Basic knowledge of electronics
• Good IT affinity and confident handling of Windows PCs
• No hesitation regarding software installations, drivers, and device interfaces
• Very careful, clean, and reliable way of working
• Ability to work according to assembly instructions, parts lists, testing instructions, and checklists
• Sense of responsibility and a good eye for quality and details
• Good German skills
• English skills are an advantage, but not a requirement
