Med. Practice Assistant Cardiology / Angiology (m/f/d)

The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrisches Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the expanded basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population of the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the canton and beyond.

In the MTTB department under the leadership of Frau Jana Schmid, we are looking for a Medical Practice Assistant with a workload of 40-60% in the field of cardiology / angiology, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Organization and coordination of the cardiology and angiology outpatient clinics
• Care of patients as well as appointment scheduling and patient management
• Performance of diagnostic examinations in the field of cardiology and angiology, for example ECG, long-term ECG, long-term blood pressure measurements and oscillodoppler examinations
• Support of the specialist doctors during consultations, examinations and interventions
• Performance of blood sampling as well as taking over administrative and organizational tasks

Your profile

• Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant, Medizinischer Praxisassistent EFZ or Fachperson Gesundheit
• Ideally experience in an outpatient environment, preferably in cardiology or angiology
• Structured and reliable way of working as well as organizational skills
• High patient orientation and strong service understanding
• Open and appreciative communication, calmness and overview even in a dynamic everyday working life as well as enjoyment of interprofessional cooperation
