Product & Service Owner

MediData ensures reliable networking – for optimal processes, flexible collaboration and sustainable digitalization in the Swiss healthcare system. The company, based in Root D4 (LU), has been networking participants in the healthcare sector since 1994 – from medical practices, hospitals and nursing homes to Spitex, laboratories, health insurers, cantons and authorities. Around 22,000 actors send over 105 million documents annually through the protected digital data space. In this way, MediData makes a measurable contribution to the digital further development of the healthcare system and to the sustainable improvement of the quality of life in Switzerland.

As Product & Service Owner with a focus on ICT Infrastructure & Workplace, you are responsible for the further development and operation of workplace and infrastructure services. You ensure that customer needs, company goals and technical requirements are brought into harmony and that the services are operated and developed in an economical, reliable and future-oriented manner.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the assigned infrastructure and workplace services throughout the entire lifecycle.
• You further develop the product and service roadmap and ensure that customer needs, company goals and technical requirements are coordinated with each other.
• You prioritize the backlog and work together with specialist departments, stakeholders and technical teams on the continuous further development of the services.
• You monitor service quality, availability, performance as well as SLA/OLA agreements and initiate optimization measures if necessary.
• You plan and accompany the introduction of new technologies, services, migrations and renewals.
• You manage external partners and suppliers and ensure the agreed service quality.
• You ensure compliance with security, data protection and compliance requirements within your services.

What you bring with you

• Higher vocational training or university degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in the field of ICT Infrastructure, Workplace or Cloud Services.
• Experience in Product Ownership, Service Management or ICT project management.
• Experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Good knowledge of agile methods and modern service management practices.
• Very strong customer focus – you want to do everything to ensure that you can meet customer needs with the product without losing sight of the product vision.
• Goal-oriented mindset - you don't just write user stories and manage them in the backlog, you understand how to demonstrate end-to-end why this is truly important for the customers.
• Bridge builder between customer and team - you promote direct dialogue, create mutual understanding and successfully bring different perspectives together.
