Kinderhaus Stern im Ried operates three residential groups with a total of 22 care places for children aged 0 to 10 years. As a bilingual institution, we accompany the children in German and French around the clock, 365 days a year.

As of 1 September, we are opening a new residential group and are looking for committed specialists who will help shape the setup and accompany children in their development with heart, professionalism, and joy.

Area of responsibility: ###

• Care and accompaniment of a group of approx. 6 to 8 children within the team.
• Designing a structured everyday life with rituals, activities, meals, and age-appropriate offers.
• Promotion of the emotional, social, and personal development of the children as well as support in everyday situations.
• Planning and implementation of games, activities, and excursions.
• Observation and documentation of development processes as well as participation in development planning.
• Weekend shifts, early and late shifts until 21:00 at the latest.

For Social or Childhood Pedagogy specialists, the assumption of key person work (Bezugspersonenarbeit) is additionally included:

• Responsibility for individual children and cooperation with parents as well as the social environment.
• Conducting progress meetings and interdisciplinary cooperation with specialist agencies and relatives.
• Active participation in the pedagogical further development of the residential group and the concept.

Requirements: ###

• Completed training as a Childcare Specialist EFZ, or Social or Childhood Pedagogy HF.
• Joy in working with children and interest in their individual development.
• Experience in the inpatient sector is an advantage.
• Very good German or French skills with good knowledge of the respective other language.
• Teamwork skills, flexibility, reliability, and sense of responsibility.
