Das Kinderhaus Stern im Ried has four residential groups with a total of 26 childcare places for children aged 0 to 10 years. As a bilingual institution, we accompany the children around the clock and 365 days a year in German and French.

Area of responsibility: ###

• Care and accompaniment of a group of approximately 6 to 8 children within a team.
• Design of a structured everyday life with rituals, activities, meals, and age-appropriate offers.
• Promotion of the emotional, social, and personal development of the children as well as support in everyday situations.
• Planning and implementation of games, activities, and excursions.
• Observation and documentation of developmental processes as well as participation in support planning.
• Weekend shifts, early and late shifts until 21:00 at the latest.
• On-call service from Friday to Saturday / from Saturday to Sunday.

For social or childhood pedagogy specialists, taking on key worker duties is additionally included:

• Responsibility for individual children and cooperation with parents as well as the social environment.
• Conducting progress meetings and interdisciplinary cooperation with specialist agencies and relatives.
• Active participation in the pedagogical further development of the residential group and the concept.

Requirements: ###

• Completed training as a Fachperson Kinderbetreuung EFZ, or Sozial- oder Kindheitspädagogik HF.
• Joy in working with children and interest in their individual development.
• Experience in the inpatient sector is an advantage.
• Very good German or French skills with good knowledge of the respective other language.
• Teamwork skills, flexibility, reliability, and a sense of responsibility.
