For one of our clients based in the Bulle region, an international industrial player recognized in the development and manufacture of advanced mechanical and technological systems, we are looking for a:
Product Safety Specialist / Spécialiste Sécurité Produits (M/F)
You will play a central role in product safety by supporting technical teams in the identification, evaluation, and control of risks. Thanks to your global technical vision, you will intervene in issues that are both mechanical as well as electrical and software.
Responsibilities
Apply and promote risk analysis processes in accordance with the EN ISO 12100 standard and guarantee their consistent application
Coordinate the implementation of product risk analyses in collaboration with Engineering teams and the various departments concerned
Guarantee the consideration and application of requirements, directives, and standards relating to product safety
Identify and evaluate potential risks related to the various technical aspects of products: mechanical, electrical, hardware, software, etc.
Support technical teams in the research and implementation of solutions to control identified risks
Actively participate in technical discussions and constructively challenge existing solutions from the perspective of product safety
Provide your expertise during specific projects and support exchanges with clients and external partners on safety and risk analysis issues
Ensure the follow-up and documentation of risk analyses throughout the different phases of projects
Profile
Completed technical training, at CFC, ES Technician, HES Engineer level or training deemed equivalent
Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the field of machinery, industrial equipment, or heavy machinery
Practical experience in the field of product safety and risk analysis
Good mastery of the EN ISO 12100 standard
Good knowledge of international requirements and standards related to product safety
Excellent general technical understanding: reading plans, mechanical design, hardware/software and industrial technologies
Basic knowledge in the field of combustion engines is an advantage
Ability to understand multidisciplinary technical issues and translate them into concrete solutions
Curious, proactive personality eager to expand knowledge beyond their initial area of expertise
Ability to defend a technical point of view with confidence while remaining constructive and solution-oriented
Autonomous, organized and goal-oriented
Excellent team spirit and ability to seek common solutions while guaranteeing compliance with defined safety objectives
