Job Description

Your mission:

You ensure the monitoring of the operation of FER Genève buildings, as well as various works related to the installations and equipment of the buildings. You play an essential role in the proper daily functioning of our infrastructures, by intervening on varied missions combining maintenance, technical support, and equipment management.

Main responsibilities:

• Carry out the monitoring of breakdowns inherent to the buildings.
• Coordinate routine maintenance work (preventive) and repair work (curative).
• Monitor the services of the intervening companies, control the quality of the work, and receive the works.
• Perform periodic inspections of the works. Analyze malfunctions and propose remediations.
• Assist and occasionally replace colleagues on other tasks.
• Guarantee the accuracy of FER Genève building plans and keep them constantly up to date.
• Ensure the removal of garbage and waste.
• Perform errands and outdoor transports.
• Ensure regular availability and on-site interventions in case of technical alarm.
• Occasionally provide on-call service.

Profile sought

Qualifications:

• You have a CFC in operation or a title deemed equivalent.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar function.
• You master building techniques as well as building safety rules.
• You have a category B driver's license for professional travel.
• You master safety standards as well as SIA standards.

Aptitudes and skills:

• Sense of service, availability and listening to internal needs, importance of the quality of service and well-being offered to clients.
• Ability to explain a technical situation simply.
• Collaboration with internal services and external providers.
• First-degree technical versatility (basic electricity, small plumbing, carpentry, locksmithing, painting).
