To strengthen our team in Grenchen, we are looking for a committed individual as a CNC Operator Milling (m/f/d) Medical Technology in a permanent full-time position, starting immediately or by arrangement.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

The selected person is responsible for operating and monitoring CNC milling machines for the production of components for medical implants. The area of responsibility includes:

• Operating and monitoring CNC milling machines according to work instructions, production orders, and process specifications
• Loading the systems with raw material and removing the manufactured components
• Ensuring a smooth and efficient production process
• Monitoring ongoing production as well as early detection of process deviations and machine malfunctions
• Performing series, in-process, and quality controls according to testing specifications
• Checking the manufactured parts regarding quality, dimensional accuracy, and surface condition using measuring and testing equipment
• Documenting inspection results as well as recording production and quality data in the MES system
• Identifying, reporting, and documenting quality deviations and production events
• Professional marking and separation of defective or unusual parts according to specifications
• Performing simple machine checks as well as minor troubleshooting within the scope of qualification
• Supporting the setters and technical departments as required
• Ensuring order and cleanliness at the workplace according to 5S principles
• Compliance with all quality, safety, hygiene, process, and compliance specifications in a regulated medical technology environment
• Close cooperation with production, quality assurance, and technology to ensure high product quality

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in operating CNC machines, ideally in the area of milling
• Technical or mechanical training is an advantage
• Technical understanding as well as interest in CNC manufacturing processes
• Experience in handling measuring and testing equipment
• Careful and quality-conscious way of working
• High sense of responsibility and reliability
• Independent and team-oriented personality
• Good PC user skills
• Willingness to work in 2- to 3-shift operations
• Experience in medical technology, precision manufacturing, or a regulated production environment is an advantage
