The Tiefbauamt is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of cantonal roads, as well as hydraulic engineering and slow-moving traffic in Graubünden. We also take care of the operational maintenance of national highways within the cantonal territory. The canton's road infrastructure includes over 1'450 structures, including bridges at airy heights of up to 90 meters and tunnels up to 3 kilometers in length.
