As an organization based on Christian values and non-profit, the Armée du Salut offers tailored support to people and their needs. La Résidence Amitié is a 52-bed EMS located in the heart of the city of Genève and offers its residents quality supervision in a bright and friendly space. We are looking for our future animator.
Your field of activity

• You apply the fundamental principles of the Armée du Salut, as described in the Concept général pour le travail social de l'Armée du Salut
• You participate in the mission of the EMS with a view to the well-being and support of the residents
• You design and organize activities adapted to the residents of the establishment
• You propose collective and individual animations promoting the maintenance of social ties, cognitive abilities, and the autonomy of the residents
• You accompany beneficiaries in acts of daily life according to their needs
• You participate in the development and monitoring of the residents' individual projects
• You collaborate with a small animation team and with the other professionals of the establishment
• You ensure the transmission and documentation of the information necessary for the monitoring of residents' files (Carefolio)
• You contribute to institutional life, to the EMS events, and to the team dynamics

What you bring

• Adherence to the values of the Armée du Salut
• Holder of a CFC as assistant socio-éducatif (ASE) or HES diploma
• Swiss nationality or valid work permit
• Listening, you demonstrate kindness, gentleness, and respect towards the residents
• Force of proposal, dynamic and proactive: you are creative, know how to show initiative, and anticipate the needs/desires of the residents
• Versatile, you are capable of animating varied activities, notably musical, cultural, or intergenerational
• You are able to propose outings and to develop animations adapted to the interests and capacities of each person, including with simple means
• Flexible and reactive, you know how to bounce back in different situations, to unforeseen events, and adjust your approach according to needs
• Resistant to stress, you demonstrate calmness even in demanding situations
• Equipped with an excellent sense of interpersonal relations and a very good team spirit, you appreciate working in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, while demonstrating autonomy, organization, and a sense of responsibility
• Professional rigor and punctuality
• Driver's license
• Availability for variable schedules including occasionally holidays, evenings, and weekends
