Software Architect with focus on AI in the SSDLC 80-100 % Zürich-Flughafen or St.Gallen

You make more out of AI than just a copilot on the desktop. You develop standards, architectural principles and best practices for the productive use of AI and shape the further development of the AI-enabled SSDLC. Your focus is on engineering excellence and organization-wide enablement. At the same time, you contribute your know-how to customer projects and support teams in the implementation of sophisticated AI solutions. You combine architecture, software engineering, DevOps and AI and ensure that experiments become sustainable solutions.

Your role ##

• You develop reference architectures, architectural principles and standards for the use of AI in software engineering and SSDLC
• You define best practices as well as reusable architecture, integration and solution patterns for agents, prompts, context models and RAG solutions
• You continuously develop the AI-enabled SSDLC and support the integration of AI into development, test, architecture and operation processes
• You advise and coach teams in the introduction, use and scaling of AI and promote organization-wide knowledge and experience exchange
• You evaluate new technologies, models and frameworks and define standard setups together with AI Engineering
• You define quality requirements for AI solutions and ensure that these remain traceable, maintainable and scalable
• You support strategically relevant customer projects and transformation projects in the conception, architecture and introduction of AI solutions
• You participate in the further development of the AI strategy, architecture governance and engineering excellence of Abraxas

Your profile ##

• Many years of experience as an ICT architect, lead developer or principal engineer
• Very good understanding of modern software and platform architectures
• Experience in architecture and technology transformations
• Sound knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD and modern engineering platforms
• Experience with LLM, agent and RAG concepts
• Ability to establish technical standards organization-wide
• Experience in coaching and enablement of development organizations
• Ability to combine strategic architectural work with the practical requirements of customer projects and transformation projects
