In this role, you will be significantly involved in the engineering, operation, and further development of a modern container platform and will contribute your expertise in architecture, automation, and monitoring. Tasks: \- Engineering, operation, and further development of Kubernetes-based platforms (On-Prem/Cloud Native) \- Setup, configuration, and maintenance of Cloud-Native services (e.g., CNI, CSI, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana) \- Integration and operation of Kubernetes workloads using ArgoCD and HELM (GitOps approach) \- Collaboration in the conception and further development of system architectures in the field of Cloud Platform Engineering & Kubernetes \- Close cooperation with architecture, network, and security teams in complex enterprise networks with multiple segments and firewall zones \- Performance and availability monitoring of the platforms as well as error analysis and rectification \- Support in the automation of build/deploy processes (CI/CD, ideally GitLab Runner) \- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, concepts, and best practices Requirements: \- At least 2 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer with a specialization in Kubernetes \- Sound practical experience with Kubernetes platforms and the engineering of Cloud-Native services (e.g., CNI, CSI, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana etc.) \- Very good knowledge of VMware vSphere, container technologies, and VMware TKGI \- Practical evidence of working with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and HELM \- Proven experience in the development of technical concepts or collaboration on system architectures in the field of Cloud Platform Engineering / Kubernetes \- Knowledge of the following services is an advantage: CNI, CSI, Istio, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana \- Professional experience in complex enterprise network environments (multiple segments, firewall interfaces, zones) is an advantage \- Verifiable experience in the CI/CD environment, ideally with GitLab Runner, is preferred Education: \- Completed technical training (IT or comparable) Languages: \- German native speaker/business fluent Reference no.: 925155JP Role: DevOps Engineer Cloud Platforms (m/f/d) Location: Bern and region Workload: 80-100% (At least 1 day per week on-site, remote only within Switzerland) Start: End: Until If this position has piqued your interest, please send us your complete dossier via the link in this advertisement.
