Within this department, the [Infectious Diseases Service](< >) aims to reconcile clinical activity meeting the needs of a university hospital with academic research and teaching activity with the Faculty of Medicine. It ensures the diagnostic and therapeutic management of patients suffering from infectious pathologies, including HIV/AIDS. It relies on a medical team specialized in infectious diseases and microbiology and develops its activities in close connection with many hospital partners in order to guarantee multidisciplinary and high-quality care. This position is newly created and is part of the ALTER deployment which aims to ensure the compliance of work organization with the Labor Act (LTr). Internal medicine physician in infectious diseases -- 100% As an internal physician, you have started your training path in internal medicine and now wish to orient yourself towards obtaining the title of specialist in infectious diseases. In this context, you join the Infectious Diseases Service and participate in the activities of the different specialized consultations, notably in general infectious diseases, for immunocompromised persons, elderly persons, in the field of septic orthopedics and HIV/AIDS, through rotations. Under the supervision of senior physicians, you ensure the management of the patients entrusted to you, both in outpatient and inpatient settings, within the entire institution. You progressively develop your clinical expertise by being confronted with varied and sometimes complex situations, which strengthen your analytical capacities, your clinical judgment and your ability to adapt quickly to new medical contexts. Thanks to your sense of organization and your rigor, you ensure the clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic activities necessary for the management of patients. You ensure compliance with internal rules and procedures, with a constant concern for the quality of medical services provided. Faced with the diversity of consultation requests and the complexity of certain clinical situations, you demonstrate composure, discernment and good stress management. Your intellectual curiosity prompts you to deepen your knowledge and to understand the issues of the situations you face. You also welcome constructive feedback with openness and use it as levers for progress in achieving your training objectives. Evolving in a stimulating and demanding university environment, within a multidisciplinary team, you also participate in the training of medical interns. You collaborate closely with all the medico-nursing teams of the institution, in a proactive approach centered on the needs of patients. You ensure the maintenance of clear, respectful and adapted communication, both with your colleagues and with the persons receiving care and their relatives. Furthermore, you have the possibility to participate in ongoing research projects within the service. As part of your training path, you develop your skills in accordance with the training plan and FMH requirements for three years within the service. This offers an environment recognized for the quality of its teaching, a wide range of activities in infectious diseases as well as development opportunities promoting the obtaining of the FMH title. You also benefit from personalized support thanks to coaching sessions, targeted training and regular supervision provided by senior physicians as well as senior clinicians. Qualifications You hold a federal medical diploma or have a diploma recognized as equivalent by the Medical Professions Commission (MEBEKO). You justify at least three years of experience in general internal medicine or already hold an FMH in general internal medicine. Initial experience in clinical infectious diseases is an asset. You aim to obtain the FMH specialist title in infectious diseases and wish to carry out all or part of your training within the service. You have a perfect command of the French language (C1 level required) and a very good capacity for written and oral expression. Possessing excellent communication skills in a multidisciplinary team and with patients, you are a dynamic, flexible and committed person. In addition, you have demonstrated strong adaptation capacities. Additional information You can work both in day shifts, as well as in night and weekend shifts.
