Job description _______ Economist (80%-100%) Zurich / Permanent employment / hybrid The BNS establishes the financial accounts of Switzerland. To strengthen the Financial Accounts team, we are looking for a motivated economist.   Your mission ##   • Participation in the development and publication of Switzerland's financial accounts and corresponding coordination • Verification of the plausibility and analysis of financial account data in a macroeconomic context, for example in a thematic area such as public finances • Implementation of financial account development projects according to international standards • Participation in internal, national and international working and project groups • Contact person for data users within and outside the BNS Your profile ##   • Master's or doctorate in economics • Solid analytical and conceptual skills • Good programming skills in script languages (e.g. R or Python) • Experience in project work and statistical production • Team spirit, autonomous and results-oriented working method • Good writing skills as well as good knowledge of French or German and English Our offer ### We offer you a varied activity serving the general interest of Switzerland and significantly supporting the economy, population and stability of the financial system.
