Food Inspector (a) # 80% | Luzern ## Do you have sound professional experience in the meat industry or the bakery, pastry and confectionery industry and would like to use your know-how in a responsible task with social significance? Strengthen our team and make an important contribution to the protection of consumers in the Canton of Luzern with your expertise. Your tasks • You ensure that catering, trade and retail businesses comply with the legal requirements regarding hygiene, food safety and declaration. • For this purpose, you independently plan inspections at the businesses for which you are responsible, and carry out the inspections competently and effectively. • You prepare inspection reports, define measures and ensure their implementation. • You carry out sampling of food and consumer goods and assess factual and declaration issues. Your profile • You have completed training with a professional examination as a Meat Industry Operations Manager or as a Master Baker-Confectioner and have several years of experience in the food industry. • You already possess the federal diploma as a Food Inspector or are willing to obtain it. • A confident and friendly appearance characterizes you, and you recognize when support and when assertiveness are required. • You have very good oral and written expression and formulate in precise German. • Your structured, organized and independent way of working, your knowledge of common IT tools as well as your mobility thanks to driving license B round off your profile.
