Job Description ## In this position, you are responsible for the holistic management of our application environments. These include areas from software development (automation) as well as version control. Typical examples of this would be Rockwell Automation, Copadata Zenon, Beckhoff TwinCAT or Perforce Helix Core. • You ensure a stable, efficient, and user-friendly operation of the applications by regularly installing and rolling out updates and patches. This also includes creating and maintaining documentation. • Additionally, you act as a competent contact person in global 2nd-level support and work closely with internal departments, IT, and external partners and service providers. • You analyze requirements, develop technical solutions, and implement changes and optimizations independently to drive the digitization and efficiency of engineering processes. • In license management, you identify needs and derive strategic measures to optimize license usage and management. • Last but not least, you maintain a global key user structure and establish common processes. Qualifications ## • You have a completed degree in computer science, electrical and automation technology, or a similar field. Alternatively, you have comparable vocational training with relevant practical experience. • You have experience in the care and administration of software applications, ideally in a technical area / engineering environment. • In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, network technology, and virtualization. • Safe handling of version control systems (e.g., Git), fault analysis, troubleshooting, and end-user support - both personally and via remote access. • In-depth knowledge of software distribution and automation, especially with PowerShell (Intune). • You bring pronounced analytical skills and very good German and English language skills. • Your communication strength and a structured way of working with a high service orientation characterize you. • Very good German and English language skills in word and writing complete your profile.
