Head of Logistics (100 %) Member of the Executive Board

Area of Responsibility

• You lead and are responsible for the entire logistics area (warehouse, production, freight forwarding)
• You maintain and ensure the high-level requirements for the reliability of our services on a daily basis.
• You work out productivity increases and further develop the logistical offering.
• As a member of the Executive Board, you regularly analyze and identify potential for improvement and develop targeted strategies to secure and increase our company's success.
• In your activities, you work closely with your colleagues from management, division, and department heads.
• Hands-on mentality and active participation in the logistics processes
• You are responsible for the internal control system in the area of logistics and report to the Managing Director
• Personnel leadership and coordination of the logistics team

Requirements

• Higher education in the field of logistics, Supply Chain Management, business administration, or comparable further training (HF/FH/Uni).
• Several years of leadership experience in a demanding logistics organization with warehouse and transport responsibility.
• Good knowledge in the areas of warehouse logistics, distribution, transport planning, and fleet management.
• Experience in the optimization of processes, structures, and organizational workflows.
• Affinity for ERP systems (preferably MS D365 F&O), digitalization, and data-based management.
• High social competence as well as strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Role model function regarding customer orientation, commitment, and cooperation.
• Decisiveness and assertiveness while simultaneously maintaining high appreciation towards employees.
• High resilience and implementation strength.
