In this versatile function, you will combine technical expertise and project responsibility to targetedly advance network operation. Control Technology Engineer (all) # Your field of activity • In this exciting role, you lead sub-projects and internal working groups and actively participate in large projects and programs • You plan, design, and implement the connection of decentralized installations such as PV, wind, hydraulic, battery storage, charging infrastructure, and EMS to the BKW central control center • You integrate interfaces such as Modbus, IEC 60870-5-104/101, MQTT, REST API, or OPC-UA and configure them autonomously or in collaboration with partners • You integrate and model the installations in SCADA and control systems and develop the system landscape for injection and load management • You develop technical solutions for complex systems in close collaboration with planners, clients, and manufacturers - always respecting IT and OT security requirements • You analyze systems and incidents, deduce improvements, and clearly inform superiors as well as project managers of progress, risks, and results What you bring • Degree in electrical engineering at university or university of applied sciences level or equivalent training, additional training in project management is an advantage • A good knowledge of technical relationships in systems, the electrical grid, and production installations is a matter of course for you • You maintain an overview in stressful situations, know how to prioritize wisely, and keep your cool • Your structured and responsible way of working helps you keep a reliable eye on resources, deadlines, quality, and costs • Structured, client-oriented, and solution-oriented working and thinking method • Mastery of German orally and in writing as well as good knowledge of French or English enables secure communication At BKW Power Grid, we shape a reliable energy future through innovative solutions, responsibility, and close collaboration.
