For our client, a renowned company in the field of railway infrastructure and overhead line technology, we are looking for an experienced and strong leadership personality as a Chief Fitter Overhead Line Construction (m/f/d).

Our client realizes demanding projects in the field of overhead line systems and offers you the opportunity to take on responsibility in operational implementation as well as in the leadership of assembly teams.

Job Description

• Independent planning, preparation and coordination of assembly orders (AVOR 3)
• Conducting shift briefings and organization of daily work assignments
• Technical and personnel leadership of group leaders, specialist fitters and fitters
• Ensuring timely, quality, safety and cost-effective execution of the assembly work
• Creation and maintenance of assembly journals, work and service reports
• Coordination and coordination with other specialist services on the construction site
• Support of the construction management and project management in the implementation of construction projects
• Recognition and reporting of deviations as well as technical defects
• Monitoring and enforcement of all safety regulations, including function as safety officer
• Execution of switching and grounding work with appropriate authorization
• Driving of rail vehicles (at least VTE 10) and operation of the associated work equipment
• Organization of material returns and support in the optimization of work processes

Requirement Profile

• Completed training as a network electrician or in a comparable manual-technical profession
• At least 5 years of professional experience in overhead line construction as well as in the repair and replacement of cable systems
• Experience in the coordination of assembly work and ideally in the leadership of employees
• Driving license category B, category CE an advantage
• Fitness for working at heights as well as readiness for night work
• Independent, structured and safety-conscious way of working
• Strong sense of responsibility and organizational skill
• Teamwork skills, flexibility and resilience
• Ability to set priorities and to maintain an overview even in demanding situations
• Very good German skills, French skills an advantage
