Wyon AG today develops and produces, with 200 employees, custom small and micro-sized lithium-ion batteries for medical applications. Thanks to patented and highly innovative technologies, we are often one step ahead in the sector; thus, Wyon AG is today the world leader in the manufacture of rechargeable batteries for cochlear implants.

As an expert project manager in electrochemistry, you actively drive the development and optimization of our next generations of batteries within the Research Chemistry department. You combine deep expertise with a strong capacity for implementation in projects with global cooperation partners.

Your tasks:

• You research, develop and optimize new and existing technologies in various fields of battery technologies (active materials, electrodes, electrolytes and electrochemical methods)
• You develop new project standards at company scale and strategic roadmaps
• You assume responsibility for internal projects as well as projects with global cooperation partners
• You ensure the achievement of project objectives in terms of performance, quality and deadlines
• You represent the company in electrochemistry at conferences or in strategic alliances

Your skills:

• You hold a doctorate in chemistry, materials science or related natural sciences
• You have several years of industrial experience in development and production in electrochemistry for rechargeable batteries, particularly in electrode manufacturing
• You have several years of experience in project management
• You have a strong entrepreneurial mindset
• You communicate proactively and openly and enjoy working in a team
• You possess great social skills with assertiveness as well as good acceptance among project stakeholders
• You can express yourself easily in German and English
• Your working methodology is reliable, structured, analytical and rigorous
• You bring a high level of quality awareness and autonomy
• You have experience with international partners/suppliers
• It is advantageous if you have experience in highly regulated markets (ideally in the Med-tech field)
