• 05 August 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • Baar Job Presentation The Manager, International Health System Integrations supports non-US health organizations in the integration of their electronic medical and health record systems (EMR/EHR) with Abbott Cancer Diagnostics platforms and workflows. Working directly with hospitals, laboratories, and health IT teams, this role helps establish clinical workflows, streamline data exchange, and support operational objectives. The job holder acts as a key link between external health partners and internal Abbott Cancer Diagnostics teams, discussing initial implementation topics with clients while translating client systems, workflows, and implementation needs for internal stakeholders. In doing so, the Lead Health System Integrations Manager collaborates closely with colleagues from Abbott's Product and IT Engineering teams as well as Laboratory Operations, Medical Affairs, and Commercial to successfully execute client integration initiatives and support ongoing relationship management. The Manager, International Health System Integrations applies their experience with health technology systems (e.g., Dedalus, Cerner, Epic, etc.) and their knowledge of the healthcare sector to ensure tailored, customer-centric solutions, while adhering to functional and corporate policies and protocols. Essential Functions Include, but are not limited to, the following: • Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare organizations and technology partners, helping to identify, promote, and support digital health integration (EMR/EHR) opportunities and initiatives. • Collaborate with account managers, sales, and marketing teams as an expert technical resource in the application and implementation of digital health initiatives. • Work with our clients (provider IT, informatics, and operational teams) to support connections between client systems and Abbott Cancer Diagnostics platforms. • Lead discussions with clients regarding integration capabilities, workflows, technical requirements, and implementation planning. • Represent the voice of the customer and help internal teams understand client technical environments, operational workflows, and integration needs. • Support integration and relationship management activities involving Epic, Cerner, Dedalus, and other health technology platforms. • Provide advice on health data exchange and integration approaches, including HL7, FHIR, API, and laboratory order/result workflows within the client context. • Coordinate cross-functional internal teams to support client implementations. • Identify opportunities for workflow improvement, connectivity simplification, and customer experience enhancement. • Assist in problem resolution, troubleshooting, and coordination during implementation and post-implementation activities. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external health IT managers, IT teams, laboratory management, and operational stakeholders. • Support the creation of client-facing documents, workflow documentation, and other guidance resources. • Stay informed of health technology trends, EMR capabilities, and scalable integration approaches in the healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences, and health informatics sectors. • Provide regular updates to IT and commercial management as well as other internal stakeholders regarding client integration activities and strategic opportunities. • Uphold the company's mission and values: accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork. • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures. • Ability to spend 30% of working time away from the workplace (including overnight/weekend travel). Minimum Qualifications • Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher according to the CEFR framework) and the ability to communicate in English on technical subjects. • Bachelor's degree in health, information technology, health informatics, or a related field. • 8 years of relevant experience as described in the essential functions. • 4 years of experience in health technology, digital health, health informatics, or similar roles. • Practical knowledge of Cerner and/or Epic EHR systems. • Familiarity with health integration standards such as HL7, FHIR, API, and laboratory workflows. • Significant demonstrable experience with healthcare organizations, hospital IT teams, laboratories, or health technology providers. • Practical knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, APPI, PIPEDA) and health data regulations (e.g., HITECH, HDS) within the context of digital health services. • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and coordinate multiple stakeholders. • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Work authorization in Switzerland without visa sponsorship.
