What to expect #####

• You support the Raw Materials Category Manager in the development and implementation of procurement strategies for important food ingredients and raw materials such as cocoa, nuts, sugar, dairy products, fats, oils and other food raw materials
• You are independently responsible for selected suppliers and purchasing activities, evaluate their performance and identify potential for improvement and cost optimization
• You prepare commercial negotiations, supplier agreements and contracts and lead selected sourcing and tendering processes from market analysis to implementation
• You analyze international raw material markets, raw material trends, harvest developments, currency fluctuations and supply risks and create corresponding market and purchasing analyses
• You support the development and expansion of an international supplier network and identify and qualify alternative suppliers and procurement options.
• You work closely with Supply Chain, production planning, quality management, product development, sustainability and Finance and support requirements planning, inventory management and security of supply
• You ensure the correct maintenance of supplier, price, contract and material master data in the ERP system
• You create KPI dashboards and decision-making bases for management
• You participate in projects on Procurement Excellence, process improvement, sustainability and cost optimization

What you bring with you #####

• You have a bachelor's degree or a comparable qualification in business administration, supply chain management, purchasing or a related field
• You bring at least 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally in the food, ingredients, agricultural raw material, FMCG or manufacturing industry
• You have experience in supplier management, strategic purchasing as well as in working with international suppliers and global supply chains
• You have strong analytical skills and an interest in raw material markets, price developments and procurement risks
• You bring demonstrable negotiation and stakeholder management competencies.
• You have a high ERP affinity and experience with Comarch, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or comparable systems as well as very good Excel and reporting skills
• You work in a structured, hands-on and proactive manner, pay attention to details and can safely manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Ideally, you bring experience with agricultural raw materials or food ingredients as well as knowledge of food standards and quality requirements such as IFS, BRCGS, FSSC 22000 and HACCP
• Ideally, you have knowledge in sustainability, ESG, Responsible Sourcing, Commodity Risk Management, contract management and market analysis and are interested in macroeconomic, currency-related and geopolitical developments
• You speak German and English fluently at a business level; Spanish and/or Portuguese as well as other language skills are an advantage
