As part of the evolution of its logistics department, it is creating a new function intended to strengthen the steering of daily activities, support teams in the field and support the many improvement projects currently underway. Your role This function occupies a central place within the organization. Without being a hierarchical manager in the classical sense of the term, you become the true operational reference for the logistics team. You act as the link between the field, management and the various departments of the company in order to guarantee the fluidity of operations and the good coordination of activities. On a daily basis, you support employees, organize priorities, provide support in resolving operational problems and actively contribute to the evolution of working methods. Your mission goes far beyond daily management. You participate directly in the modernization projects of the department by implementing concrete solutions that allow for the sustainable improvement of logistics performance. Your daily life You coordinate the activities of the logistics team in order to ensure smooth operation of activities and an optimal distribution of resources. Present in the field, you support employees in their daily work, advise them in complex situations and contribute to the development of their skills. You analyze existing processes, identify malfunctions and propose improvement actions to gain efficiency, reliability and service quality. You lead or participate in continuous improvement projects focusing in particular on logistics flows, stock organization, working methods and the digitalization of tools. You also work on the reliability of logistics data by analyzing stock discrepancies, performance indicators and inventory processes, in order to guarantee reliable information for all departments. Finally, you actively contribute to the modernization of the department by participating in the evolution of ERP systems, the development of digital tools and the automation of certain administrative activities. Your profile You benefit from higher education in logistics, Supply Chain or an equivalent field. You have proven experience in an industrial environment, with a solid mastery of logistics flows and a first successful experience in a role of coordination, operational reference or local management. You are comfortable with data analysis, monitoring performance indicators and IT tools. Good mastery of Excel is indispensable and experience with an ERP is expected. Knowledge of Sage X3 constitutes a real advantage. You also possess a good understanding of Lean approaches, 5S methods or continuous improvement tools.
