Social Work Specialist (Legal Guardianship in Child Protection)

What you will do with us

To support our team, we are looking for an experienced specialist in child protection. The workload is up to a maximum of 40 % depending on need. Employment is on an hourly basis. The assignments are flexible and on call, particularly to bridge personnel bottlenecks, increased workload, or temporary absences.

• Are you experienced in investigating reports of endangerment and managing legal guardianships?
• Do you enjoy developing professional assessments and recommendations and can you also judge complex situations independently?
• Do you enjoy working with children, adolescents, parents, and other reference persons?
• Do you enjoy networking with authorities, schools, specialist agencies, and other involved institutions to develop suitable solutions?
• Can you write reports, applications, and statements independently and in a manner appropriate to the recipient?

What you ideally bring

• Diploma in Social Work FH/HFS or an equivalent recognized qualification
• Several years of professional experience in child protection, especially in assessments and/or legal guardianships
• Independent and structured way of working as well as confidence in demanding situations
• German-speaking with good French skills
• High flexibility regarding the scope and timing of assignments
