For the Sporthalle Blumenfeld, we are looking for a Specialist Facility Management Sports Facilities, 80-100 % (temporary for 6 months), starting 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• You ensure that our numerous guests with their diverse demands and needs always feel welcome and comfortable.
• You take facilities in/out of operation and support athletes, clubs, and organizers in the use of the facilities.
• You supervise the lively sports operations, enforce our rules of conduct, and assist in caring for our customers in emergencies.
• You actively participate in the maintenance of the sports hall and carry out maintenance and cleaning work.
• You perform simpler administrative tasks and are the contact person for our customers, schools, and clubs.

Profile ##

• A flexible, sports-enthusiastic, friendly, and independent personality with a high level of service awareness
• Completed vocational training with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (EFZ) as well as, advantageously, professional experience in the field of sports facilities
• Experience in cleaning and maintenance as well as in handling machines and equipment
• Good German skills in speaking and writing as well as good communication skills in contact with internal and external customers
• Willingness to work irregularly, in the evenings, and on weekends

About us ##

The Sportamt is a service department of the Schul- und Sportdepartement of the Stadt Zürich. It is the competence center for sports promotion and provides the sports-enthusiastic population and clubs with sports facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools. The organization of compulsory swimming lessons as well as voluntary school sports are also among the core tasks of the Sportamt. With targeted information, the Sportamt motivates more movement and advises and supports sports organizations.
