Senior UX/UI Designer (100%)

Start date: as soon as possible

Your role:

Take charge of and improve the user experience across our entire ecosystem, from the application used by pilots during drone flight to the software used on their desktop before and after flights to process and analyze data.

As the first design-dedicated hire, you will establish a strong and unified design culture. You will thrive in an ego-free, evidence-based environment, where continuous discovery and data-driven decisions translate into result-oriented requirements.

What you will take charge of:

• Product Ideation & Wireframing: Get involved from the product discovery phase to map user journeys, explore alternative UX approaches via wireframes or mood-coded prototypes where relevant, defending the ideal user experience before finalizing high-fidelity designs.
• End-to-end Interface Design: Provide clear, pixel-perfect mockups and dynamic UI prototypes, ensuring that developers have precise specifications before the start of development.
• Design System Management: Create and maintain a global design system from A to Z to ensure consistency and optimize workflows between designers and developers.
• Usability Testing: Conduct online and field usability tests to identify UX obstacles and validate ideas directly with customers.

To do this, you will collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to navigate technical constraints and provide measurable business results without sacrificing the user experience.

Your profile:

• More than 5 years of experience in product design, including a senior or lead responsibility for the UX/UI of a product, ideally in a B2B, SaaS, or hardware-related software context.
• A portfolio demonstrating a wide range, from initial phase UX exploration (journey maps, wireframes, flows) to final developer-ready UI.
• Hands-on experience in creating a design system from scratch, so that it is scalable across multiple products or platforms.
• Proven experience in planning and conducting usability tests, both moderated/remote and in-person or in the field, with translation of results into design decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable explaining design choices to engineers and product managers, and capable of defending UX without being rigid.
• Ability to work autonomously; as the first design hire, you will define the direction without an existing design team, so autonomy is as important as skills.
