What awaits you

• Receipt, analysis and project planning of technical customer inquiries
• Independent manufacture of mechanical components using the available production equipment
• Use of modern rapid prototyping technologies, especially 3D printing
• Construction of individual parts as well as smaller assemblies
• Development of practical technical solutions in close cooperation with scientists and the Engineering Center team
• Technical consulting and technical support directly for internal customers
• Execution of order-related administrative activities, including material planning and procurement

What you bring with you

• Completed training as Polymechaniker/in EFZ or comparable technical training
• Sound knowledge of precision mechanics and manufacturing technology (CNC and CAM knowledge)
• Experience in the construction and manufacture of prototypes (CAD knowledge)
• Interest in innovative technologies such as 3D printing and rapid prototyping
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Joy in collaborating with scientists and interdisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills and service-oriented way of working
• Good oral and written English skills
