The Zentrum Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie ambulant (Center Manager Dr. med. Katrin Hanno) is part of the Klinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie (Clinic Director Prof. Dr. med. Marc Walter). With its five locations (Aarau, Baden, Rheinfelden, Wohlen and Zofingen), it offers local psychiatric care for the population in the Canton of Aargau. The center includes four outpatient clinics with specialist consultations, group therapies and work coaching as well as four day centers in which adult patients are treated. Furthermore, the center includes the two day clinics in Aarau and Baden as well as the «Praxis für Ihre psychische Gesundheit» in Zofingen.

Profile

• You have a degree from a university of applied sciences in Social Work
• You appreciate interprofessional cooperation and at the same time enjoy taking independent responsibility for your area
• You convince with high social competence, confident appearance and resilience and are interested in working with people with mental illnesses
• You bring professional experience in a comparable field of activity, ideally in working with people with mental illnesses
• You know the social insurance system well and ideally have experience in vocational reintegration
• You use common Office applications securely, work in an organized and administratively proficient manner and formulate with stylistic confidence in German. Further language skills are an advantage

Tasks

• You support adults with mental illnesses in complex social matters, through assessment, counseling and active support in vocational reintegration, as well as in the areas of finance, social insurance, administration and housing
• As a social worker, you are a key member of our interprofessional treatment team, in which close cooperation is maintained - in direct cooperation with the patient, as well as indirectly within the framework of case discussions, reports and team meetings
• You occasionally represent other social workers of the Zentrum für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie Ambulant and will be represented in their absence
