As a Certification Engineer Cabin Safety, you accompany our products on their journey from development to certification. You define tests, create evidence, analyze results, and contribute your expertise already during development.

In doing so, you ensure that innovative solutions from Bucher not only convince technically but also meet the requirements of aviation.

Your work creates the foundation for our products to take off worldwide.

• You create certification documents such as test plans, analyses, and other proofs.
• You plan and accompany certification tests – including in the areas of cooling systems, fire, and acoustics.
• You analyze test results and ensure that the necessary evidence for certification is complete and traceable.
• You contribute your know-how already during development and advise our development department on design optimizations and questions regarding airworthiness.
• You work closely with customers, partners, and suppliers and are a competent contact person for questions regarding certification and airworthiness.
• You operate at the interface between engineering, quality, certification, and customers – and thereby contribute significantly to turning a development into a certified product.
• You actively participate in the further development of our solutions and certification processes.

You do not want to just develop technology, but to understand, test, and accompany it until certification.

• Completed studies as a mechanical engineer, aviator, or a comparable technical education
• Interest in aviation, certification, and airworthiness as well as enjoyment in working your way into complex technical issues
• A high sense of quality and responsibility
• A structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working
• You enjoy working interdisciplinarily and contribute your perspective constructively to the team
• Confident appearance and enjoyment in communicating with customers, partners, and suppliers
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
• Varied tasks with products that are used worldwide
