Assistant in community nursing and health care (ASSC)

Responsibilities

• Ensure hygiene, comfort, and well-being care for residents, respecting their rhythm and individual needs.
• Accompany residents in activities of daily living, promoting their autonomy.
• Adapt support to cognitive and behavioral disorders related to aging (disorientation, anxiety, agitation).
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and transmit relevant observations on the residents' condition.

Qualifications

• CFC as an assistant in community nursing and health care (ASSC), ASA or a title deemed equivalent.
• Swiss Red Cross recognition for foreign diplomas.
• Experience with elderly people desired; experience in UVP would be an asset.
• Empathy, patience, benevolence, and sense of observation adapted to age-related behavioral disorders.
• Ability to work according to irregular schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
