Qualifications and characteristics ## • Completed degree in natural sciences (at least Bachelor) or comparable qualification (in physics, chemistry, biology, materials science, or similar) • At least 3 years of professional experience in a regulatory environment, ideally in chemical law and/or construction product regulation / product approval • Business fluent language skills in German (level C1) and English (level B2) as well as confident use of Microsoft Office, especially structured data processing • Willingness to travel (max. 10%) for occasional visits to laboratories, certification bodies, etc. • Strong organizational and communication skills in working with external partners, as well as an analytical and efficient way of working paired with high initiative • Ability to structure complex regulatory contexts and explain the implications for the company in an understandable way About the job ## As a specialist, you will take responsibility for the compliance and implementation of legal obligations in chemical and hazardous substance law (GHS, REACH, CLP) and ensure that our products are placed on the market in a regulatorily flawless manner (CE markings). You will organize and accompany product certifications in close cooperation with auditors and institutes and take care of product registration in international databases and inventories. The creation and maintenance of technical documentation such as safety data sheets or declarations of conformity is just as much a part of your tasks as the active and solution-oriented cooperation with customers, suppliers, associations, and authorities to advance and successfully implement concerns and questions in the interest of SIGA. In addition, you will monitor and evaluate new regulatory developments, derive relevant measures, and implement them. Your everyday life will be varied through projects for the digitalization of processes and support in the establishment and further development of our monitoring system, especially in the context of new product technologies.
