Our client is a renowned, internationally active Swiss food company headquartered in Baselland. Due to a succession arrangement, we are looking for a dedicated, reliable and professionally experienced personality as an Accountant for the headquarters.

Accountant 80–100% (incl. Homeoffice)

Your tasks

• Responsibility for accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounting
• Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
• Preparation of VAT returns as well as contact person for all value-added tax topics
• Participation in the optimization of accounting processes as well as internal control systems (IKS)
• Preparation, analysis and processing of financial reports and evaluations
• Close cooperation with internal specialist departments as well as external partners (e.g. auditors)
• Participation in finance-specific projects and support in the continuous further development of financial processes

Your profile

• Further education in finance and accounting (federal diploma in finance and accounting or comparable training, e.g. Bachelor) – or in corresponding further education
• Several years of professional experience as an Accountant or financial accountant in a medium-sized company or international group
• Sound experience in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to OR and ideally Swiss GAAP FER
• Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form
• Very good SAP knowledge as well as confident handling of common MS Office applications
• Independent, exact and structured way of working as well as high reliability and integrity
• Team-oriented personality with enjoyment of responsibility and process optimizations
