You lead and develop a team of around 50 driver service employees with a forward-looking leadership style, clear vision, and a modern, appreciative leadership culture. You are responsible for individual subject areas (e.g., organization of night star deployments, monthly planning of all team leaders) and independently lead projects in this context from analysis to implementation to sustainable anchoring. You conduct driver accompaniments yourself to ensure that our high quality standards are guaranteed and continuously developed. You analyze and process traffic accidents, complaints, and irregularities, and support operational deployments such as traffic accidents, construction site inspections, and major events. To keep you up to date, you drive 1-2 days a month with our vehicles in the scheduled service of VBL. This keeps you close to the operation and allows you to derive improvements directly from practice. This is what you bring. You have completed vocational training, ideally with higher education or further training. Through your many years of leadership experience, you maintain a positive, respectful, and assertive attitude even in challenging situations. Additionally, you convince us with high social competence and an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented attitude. Experiences in public transport and in driver service (cat. D and/or trolleybus) are an advantage. If you don't have these yet, you are willing to acquire the necessary knowledge and specifically further educate yourself. In-depth IT knowledge and a skilled handling of various digital work tools are required. You have very good spoken and written language skills in German - spoken English skills are a plus. Through your willingness to work irregular hours from time to time, you contribute significantly to ensuring that our network runs smoothly. This is what sets us apart.
