Head of Finance and Internal Services

The Rudolf Steiner Schule Winterthur is a lively and warm educational community with around 130 children from kindergarten to the 9th grade. Our dedicated team of teachers and staff works together with the parents for a holistic and child-friendly education in the sense of Waldorf pedagogy.

After the 9th grade, the further educational path of our students leads, among other things, to the Atelierschule Zürich, with which we are connected in the area of the upper secondary level.

To complement our leadership team, we are looking for a reliable, responsible, and organizationally strong personality who enjoys taking on responsibility and actively helping to shape our school behind the scenes.

Your tasks

As part of the leadership team and in close cooperation with the school board, you will undertake a versatile management function with responsibility particularly for the following areas:

Responsibility for the school's financial processes, especially budget, accounting, and controllingOrganization and coordination of administrative processes in everyday school lifeSupport and assistance for the internal services, especially secretariat, facility services, and canteenCommunication and cooperation with cantonal offices, authorities, insurance companies, and external specialistsLeadership and participation in personnel processes as well as in organizational and internal processesContact person for parents regarding financial and administrative mattersParticipation in the further development of the school's structures and processes

Your profile

You are a dedicated, reliable, and team-oriented personality and ideally bring with you:

Experience in finance, administration, or project management, preferably in the education or non-profit sectorIndependent, structured, and careful way of working as well as a good understanding of numbersOrganizational talent and enjoyment in coordinating different tasks and areas togetherCommunication strength and enjoyment of a collegial, appreciative cooperationWillingness to take on responsibility and contribute your own ideasOpenness towards Waldorf pedagogy and interest in anthroposophical ideas
