Production Team Coordinator Tooling Management

Purpose of the role The Tooling Coordinator supports the efficient control of tooling management and ensures the timely availability of tools for production. The role coordinates daily processes, monitors maintenance and repair activities, and supports the team with technical and organizational issues. In addition, it contributes to compliance with quality and safety standards and represents the Team Leader in their absence. Responsibilities • Coordination of daily activities in the area of Tooling Management • Ensuring the timely provision of tools and equipment for production • Technical support and supervision of employees in the tooling area • Monitoring of maintenance, repair, and calibration activities • Support in prioritizing tool requirements and resources • Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and process specifications • Conducting or supporting shopfloor meetings • Escalation of technical or capacity problems to the Team Leader • Support in the onboarding of new employees • Participation in Lean, KVP, and optimization projects • Deputy for the Team Leader in their absence Qualifications • Technical basic training, preferably in the field of mechanics, toolmaking, production technology, or mechanical engineering • Several years of experience in tooling management, manufacturing, or maintenance • Good understanding of tool life cycles, maintenance processes, and production workflows • Organizational strength and a structured way of working • High customer and service orientation towards internal production areas • Strong communication skills and teamwork ability • Experience with ERP systems and common Office applications is an advantage
