Head of Power Grid As a technically savvy leader with a strategic outlook, you are responsible for the further development of a modern, efficient, and intelligently managed power grid. Energie Freiamt AG, based in (AG), is one of the most significant energy service providers in the region and supplies over 6'000 customers with electricity and heat. Around 60 employees are engaged daily in ensuring a secure energy supply, modern energy services, and strong solutions for the region. We are commissioned to approach a leader with management experience as Head of Power Grid In this key position, you report directly to the Managing Director and are responsible for the power grid area with around 20 employees (9 of whom are direct reports). You lead your area strategically, professionally, and organizationally and further develop the power grid into a high-performance, intelligently managed system. In doing so, you consistently align grid planning, flexibility use, and digitalization with future requirements and ensure a secure, economical, and future-oriented operation. Furthermore, you develop processes, lead selected projects, and promote cooperation across departmental and company boundaries. Your area also provides market-oriented grid services for third parties. The function offers development opportunities within the company's leadership environment. We are addressing a technically sound and implementation-strong personality with higher education in electrical or energy technology or engineering, ideally supplemented by further training in business administration. You bring leadership experience in a technically demanding environment and know the requirements for a modern grid operation. Topics such as flexibility use and data-based grid management interest you and you wish to actively help shape them.
