Dübendorf (and home office) | 80-100% (jobsharing possible) What you can contribute • Operate, maintain, and strategically develop key applications of military command and control (C2) systems essential for Swiss airspace surveillance, as well as associated user software • Gather user requirements, taking into account current regulatory directives (OFAC, MAA, EUROCONTROL, etc.), translate them into technical solutions, and develop architectures, designs, concepts, and specifications • Evolve, configure, and optimize combined airspace surveillance systems, while ensuring high availability as well as reliable and stable operation • Participate in the planning, acquisition, integration, verification/validation, and commissioning of complex software and system architectures, in close collaboration with users and partners (armasuisse, Air Force, Skyguide, and private companies) • Develop the technical and scientific bases for the development of airspace surveillance and advise users and decision-makers on the optimal use and development of systems • Monitor scientific and technological developments, launch, coordinate, and lead research and development projects with universities and partner organizations <br /> What makes you unique • Degree from a higher education institution (HES, university, ETH) in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field, with practical experience in software development and PaaS and SaaS architecture • Solid knowledge in analysis, coding, and system programming for real-time systems, as well as in complex systems integration • Knowledge in data fusion and the development of scalable software solutions for distributed systems, as well as practical experience with network and communication technologies • Experience in complex software projects in corporate environments and in contexts where security is crucial • Desire to be actively involved, share knowledge, and work effectively in a team to achieve ambitious goals • Good active knowledge of at least a second official language, very good command of English and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language <br /> In a few words Welcome to Cyber Command.
